Find
out ‘What’s it worth?’
at Founders Luncheon February 10
The Christ Child Naples
Founders Luncheon will be held February
10, 2009 at the Naples Sailing & Yacht
Club. Leslie Hindman, founder and
president of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers
will speak at the luncheon about the art
market. She is one of the foremost
authorities in the country on buying and
selling art at auction.
What’s
it worth?
Leslie’s topic will be “What’s it
worth?” and Christ Child members are
invited to get an expert opinion from
her firm about the value of a personal
possession which might then be used as
an example in her presentation. Ever
wonder if that old painting you
purchased 30 years ago is really
valuable? Do you have an antique desk or
a vintage necklace you inherited from
your grandmother? Members who provide a
photo and details about any personal
work of art will get an opinion from
Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, one of the
largest art auction houses in the
country. If you have an item you want
evaluated, call Kathy Bouckley at
239-596-0579.
For more than two decades, Leslie
Hindman Auctioneers has been an industry
leader combining a local recognition as
the Midwest’s leading fine art
auctioneers with a global reach of
buyers. Since founding the firm in 1982,
Leslie Hindman has remained a constant
force behind high-profile auctions of
everything from contemporary paintings
and fine jewelry to French furniture and
rare books and manuscripts.
Co-chairs Gail Garratt and Sandy Welker
are planning the event. Luncheon cost is
$75.
